Aldan Memorial Post 1000

Our enlistments may have expired, but our oath never will...
for us duty is always active!

Welcome to our Post!

A little bit about us:
Aldan Memorial Post 1000 was established in 1947.  The Post is a hub for all veterans and a gathering place for our entire community.  We always appreciate it when we hear "thank you for your service", but we want you to know that our service isn't over.  We strive to continue giving back to our community.  Participating in or hosting community events,  dignified flag disposal, advocating for our veterans and remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice are just some of the things we do.

Recently we were honored to welcome members of East Lansdowne's Richard L. Charmichael Post 578 into our Post.  Our posts have a long history of team work.  Now we are working together as one unit.  As we continue the tradition of service that both Posts are known for, we need your help.  If you have served honorably in any branch of the armed forces since World War II, please join the Legion.

No organization can succeed without the support of the community that it serves.  To all of our friends and neighbors, we thank you for over 75 years of support.  Even during the unprecedented challenges that we faced recently, we all worked together to get through it.  As we move forward to better times, we ask for your continued support.  If we can be of service to you, please reach out to us.  we will help in any way that we can.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly general membership meeting is held on the first Tuesday of every month (except July and August).  Meetings begin at 7:30 PM at the Post Home, located at 106 Bonsall Avenue in Aldan.
